In October 2025 the Society held its annual exhibition at The Rose Paterson Gallery, Weston Park. It was a lovely exhibition in a lovely setting. The opportunity was taken to capture it digitally with a view to making a permanent record that could be enjoyed by anyone for years to come. This ‘Virtual’ exhibition can be viewed either by clicking the link here, or shortly by visiting the WSA website, where the link will be permanently placed.
Prizes for this exhibition were awarded to:
Alan Glover – Elsie Holland Award
Collette Phillips – Felix Award First Prize
Caron Malcolm – Felix Award Second Prize
Thanks go to all Committee & Society members who gave up their time to make this exhibition a success & all the successful exhibiting artists. Particular thanks are due to committee members Graham Everitt for recording, editing and putting together the necessary files, and Alan Glover for taking & editing the still images of each piece in the exhibition.

How to View the exhibition:
If possible, for the best viewing experience view it on a computer monitor in Full Screen mode.
You can select the Full Screen View option on the right-hand side of the screen, it will significantly enhance your experience of the exhibition.
Use a mouse, or touch screen if on a phone or tablet, to navigate the exhibition using the circular marks on the floor. Selecting these will take you to that viewpoint, where you can look around in any direction.
At each point you will see markers next to each piece of artwork. Selecting, by clicking or touching on those will show you the name of the piece and the artist and provide a detailed 2D image of the piece. You can go back to the exhibition after that using the X by the side.
If you cannot see a link next to a piece, move to the next floor circle and look again. Each piece in the exhibition can be viewed in detail.
Some pieces have an audio file explaining the work. As you will see, the sound on this defaults as ‘Off’. If you click on the cross you will be able to hear an audio description by the artist alongside a short video of the piece.
