I think the great thing about being president is that you are at the centre of things, able to have an input into the society with ideas and encouragement. I am proud to be the representative of a society that has more young people joining our ranks making the future more secure. It has also become a society with the balance of professional and amateur artists largely restored. It is a vibrant society able to embrace challenges.
