Louise Henly

Louise Henly

I have drawn and painted all my life, even as a medical student and junior doctor. When I retired from medicine, I embarked on an art foundation course and subsequently obtained a degree in fine art, sculpture, from Wolverhampton University.

I  joined a carving class for several years and made works in wood and stone and recently I have become interested in creative embroidery. I am married to a retired consultant anaesthetist and have 3 daughters and 6 grandsons.  My other interests include gardening, cooking, literature, natural history and writing poetry.
